Office Engineer - Heavy Civil (Water/Wastewater)

Myers and Sons Construction is currently seeking a Waterworks office engineer to work on various Waterworks projects throughout Northern California This person will work closely with project managers, project owners, as well as Myers and Sons’ internal staff to complete projects in a timely and effective manner. This person must be self-motivated and willing to learn all aspects of the project, including scheduling in both preconstruction and construction, coordinating suppliers and subcontractors, submittals, RFI’s, change orders, layout, survey and quality assurance. This person must be proficient at multi-tasking and working on several different projects at a time.. Currently Myers and Sons Waterworks division has several projects across Northern California. Project sizes range from 5-50 Million dollars. These projects include retrofit and new construction of water treatment plants, wastewater treatment plants, and storm water pump stations. Myers and Sons self-performs all civil, structural concrete, and mechanical work. The office engineer will assist in key aspects of planning and execution of critical project elements.


Required Experience: Must have experience working on Heavy Civil Projects or a degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.

Preferred Background: Experience in Water/Wastewater Treatment Plants or Pump Stations.
