See the Colorful New Light Show at LAX in Time-Lapse Action

Rainbow-colored, light-up towers are now officially LAX's "thing": the inspiration from Paul Tzanetopoulos's entryway pylons has spread through the airport with a project called the LAX Central Terminal Area Curbside Appeal and Roadway Improvement Project (sexy name!). Last night, Mayor Eric Garcetti switched on the light show, with 91 "sculptural [LED] light poles" and a mile-long light band all programmed with Special Olympics colors, to welcome the athletes to Los Angeles.
