C.C. Myers rebuilds the Santa Monica freeway in 66 days after the Northridge Earthquake, a full 74 days ahead of the project schedule, creating the reputation of delivering projects ahead of schedule.

This $468 million project was the company’s first design build project and one of the first for Caltrans as well. It required using ABC bridge construction methods to slide out old sections of bridge and slide in new sections over two different holiday weekends.

C.C. Myers rebuilt the Macarthur Maze I-580 East Connector after a tanker fire collapsed a section of the bridge in just 18 days, which was 27 days ahead of schedule.
