Wastewater Treatment Plant Progressive Design Build

March 2, 2021 This progressive design/build project involved an accelerated timeline and close collaboration between the construction and engineering teams. The project delivered a new wastewater treatment facility to support a developing residential and community area that will include approximately 300 homes, a community center, and a retreat center built in phases.  The facility utilizes a membrane bio reactor system and provides continuous recycled water for landscaping throughout the property. The project team rapidly completed equipment evaluations, identified the optimal configuration, and developed the design in close coordination with stakeholders and representatives. Through strong cooperation and coordination, the project met its required deadline and enabled the community to begin occupying the newly developed property.
