The project is under construction and consists of Ninyo & Moore | East Garden Grove-Wintersburg Channel, Huntington Beach, California | 211893001 | April 15, 2022the installation of two rows of sheet pile walls on both sides of the levee, removal of soil to widen the channel, and improvement of the soil in between the sheet pile walls by constructing soil cement mixing columns to densify the soil (Tetra Tech, 2020b). Part of the project also consists of retrofitting the bridges that cross the channel at Warner Avenue, Springdale Street, and Edwards Street located at Stations 100+57, 112+38, and STA 138+80, respectively.
