This project consists of the replacement of the existing reinforced concrete slab bridge along Winding Way, approximately 0.1 mile west of Chicago Avenue, over Chicago Creek with a new 39 foot wide, 131.5 foot long single span precast concrete girder bridge. Project work includes clearing & grubbing, pavement grinding, pavement removal, tree removal, roadway excavation, bridge demolition, channel slope protection, roadway approach work, aggregate base, asphalt pavement, traffic striping, bridge construction, retaining wall construction, installation of metal beam guard rail, concrete barriers, and bridge railings.
