Voorhees Ave. Sewer Lift Station Improvement

The Voorhees Sewer Lift Station Upgrades (S-264) Capital Improvement Project includes comprehensive demolition, civil, mechanical, structural, electrical, and instrumentation improvements necessary to deliver a complete and operable lift station system. The project scope includes rehabilitation and modification of the existing wet well, installation of a new 6-inch ductile iron force main to be completed during the MBUSD summer period, and connection of the sewer lift station to the discharge manhole via an off-site force main. It also involves rehabilitation of the existing 6-inch cast iron force main using flexible fabric-reinforced pipe, also scheduled for the MBUSD summer period.
Additional work includes construction of a new cast-in-place wet well expansion, installation of new mechanical equipment including pumps, valves, electrical systems, and controls, and the addition of a new standby generator with associated appurtenances. The project also entails installation of new electrical and control equipment, civil site improvements such as a CMU enclosure and paving, and final landscaping. All work shall be performed in accordance with the project plans, specifications, and applicable standards to ensure a fully functional and compliant lift station facility.
