The Town of Eagle Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) Improvements project consists of two primary components:
Part 1 – Wastewater Treatment Process Improvements (within the existing treatment building):
This phase includes the installation of a new internal mixed liquor recycle (IMLR) system, consisting of three pumps along with associated piping, valves, flow meters, and appurtenances. It also involves the replacement of three existing aeration blowers with four new units, installation of new valves for the aeration piping, and electrical and instrumentation upgrades to support the new blowers and IMLR system. Miscellaneous structural improvements, such as equipment pads, supports, and baffle wall supports, are also included.
Part 2 – New Chemical Storage Building:
This phase includes the construction of a new chemical storage building equipped with external chemical fill stations and chemical feed systems for Micro-C and Caustic Soda. Work also includes relocation of buried utilities within the building footprint, site grading, drainage, erosion and sediment control, electrical service installation, and heating and ventilation systems for the new facility.
