This is your opportunity to take a well-established construction and infrastructure business further into the alternative delivery public and private water and wastewater treatment plant space. Build the relationships, credibility, and momentum to turn the opportunity into revenue-generating projects, with the resources and team to maximize your superpowers.
This is your runway to think long-term, work upstream, and introduce the company into projects before competitors even know they exist.
Who You Are
If you have ever sat in an engineering firm, equipment supplier, water technology company, or at a contractor and thought, “I see the opportunity here, but I don’t have the freedom to pursue it the right way,” this role is built for you.
How You Will Create the Market
You:
- Become the connector between engineers, equipment suppliers, and private & public facility owners who need water and wastewater treatment solutions.
- Introduce the company into projects early — during concept, design, and pre-construction — where long-term relationships matter more than quick wins.
- Identify underserved opportunities in private water treatment across agriculture, food & beverage, industrial processing, data centers, and advanced manufacturing.
- Shape how this market develops by deciding where to focus, who to partner with, and which opportunities are worth pursuing.
- Work side by side with internal engineering and operations teams to align technical capabilities with real-world project needs.
- Expand the company’s footprint across California and Colorado.
Compensation
Your compensation is intentionally flexible and will be built around the right person. Base salary + strong incentive bonuses. As this market grows, so does your influence, leadership opportunity, and earnings potential. This role is positioned as the foundation for a future water treatment division.
You have geographic flexibility and can be based in California or Colorado, working where the opportunity is strongest.
Experience You Bring
You may have experience:
- In water treatment, wastewater treatment, industrial water, or recycled water.
- In account management, market development, or business development with long sales cycles.
- A background working with contractors, engineering firms, plant designers, equipment manufacturers, public and private owners, or water technology companies.
- Engineering background or technical education.
- Existing relationships in water, wastewater, or industrial treatment markets, or supporting private facilities such as food & beverage, agriculture, data centers, or industrial plants.
