Eisenhower Tunnel Life Fire Safety Systems Upgrade & Retrofit Design Build

August 9, 2023 The project includes installation of standpipes, valves, and fire cabinets along the roadway, as well as a new domestic water line in the plenum to supply potable water from the west portal to the east portal. Additional work involves heat tracing for both existing and new piping, SCADA system improvements, and upgrades to the existing water treatment plant at the east portal.
