Yreka Complete Streets Rehab CMGC

Myers & Sons Construction, in joint venture with JF Shea, was awarded a $63 million CMGC preconstruction and construction contract by Caltrans District 2 for the Yreka Rehabilitation Project. This essential pavement rehabilitation effort will upgrade State Route 3 (Main Street) through the City of Yreka, from Westside Road to Montague Road, bringing the corridor up to current design standards and significantly extending its service life.
In addition to improving ride quality for motorists, the project includes upgraded traffic signals, drainage systems, and ADA-compliant curbs and sidewalks. Streetscape enhancements—funded in part by the Clean California initiative—feature decorative lighting, planters, vegetation, and textured sidewalks and crosswalks, creating a cleaner, more pedestrian-friendly environment along Main Street.
