CDOT R5 US550 Guardrail Upgrade MP51.3

June 27, 2025 This project, located at milepost 51.3 on US 550B, includes the replacement of the existing guardrail with a Type 9 cast-in-place guardrail. The new guardrail will be supported by a moment slab approximately 8 feet wide, installed beneath the asphalt surface. Additional scope includes the replacement of a culvert at the intersection of Forest Service Road 783 and US 550, as well as minor ditch grading along the north side of the highway. All work will be completed in accordance with project specifications and environmental requirements.
