July 17, 2018The I-15 Barton Road Interchange Reconstruction is a joint venture project with Myers and Sons Construction and Steve P. Rados Inc. The scope of work includes: construction of a new Barton Road over-crossing (OC) at I-215 that is 112 ft. wide, 350 ft long, 3-span cast-in-place concrete post tensioned box girder bridge; demolishing the existing Barton Road OC; constructing 8 new retaining walls and 5 new masonry block sound walls. Work also includes the construction of approximately 5.5 lane-miles of city street improvements utilizing JPCP and RHMA pavement as well as cold mill/HMA overlay and 4.5 lane miles of mainline highway and ramp improvements. It will be multiple phased construction and maintanence of traffic with approximately 18 acres of landscaping and 210,000 cubic yards of earthmoving activity and export.
