Emergency Earthquake Repairs @ Fernbridge

August 9, 2023 The project involves temporary and permanent repairs to restore bridge functionality. Temporary measures include shoring at multiple locations and repaving damaged asphalt at the north and south bridge approaches to allow one-way, reversing traffic. Permanent repairs will address damage to piers, columns, girders, bents, and bridge railings. Additional repair strategies are under development, pending a detailed Bridge Inspection Report and recommendations from SM&I.
