Sludge Thickener Progressive Design Build

June 26, 2025 This project involves demolition and modifications to existing components within a chlorine contact tank. It includes construction of a new pile-supported flow split structure, a new pile-supported chlorine contact tank, and a pump station. Electrical modifications are also included for the associated control building.  Additional scope includes replacement of trickling filter media in one bio tower, replacement of two distributor arms and the drive mechanism, and installation of retractable stairs. The project also includes the construction of a new valve vault on the outfall pipe and installation of a bypass pipe to support improved flow management.
