Rt. 605 Santa Fe Springs RSC

June 27, 2025 This $181.6 million project began construction in spring of 2024. Improvements include rehabilitating pavement and concrete slabs. Construction will include 93 lane miles of new pavement, upgrading more than 16,000 linear feet of guardrail and replacing 16 overhead sign structures. In addition, the project includes 53 acres of landscaping and stormwater improvements to help prevent trash and other pollutants from draining into the San Gabriel River. There are 78 (55-hour) extended weekend closures scheduled for this segment to expedite paving operations starting in the summer of 2025.
