Groundwater PFAS Treatment Facility

June 27, 2025 This project involved the construction of a new 6 million gallon per day ion exchange treatment system at a blending facility to remove PFAS contaminants from the groundwater supply. The scope included installation of treatment equipment, piping, electrical systems, instrumentation, and supporting civil improvements.  Construction began in December 2023, and the facility was placed into service in September 2024. Final site restoration and automation work were completed by March 2025. The facility is now fully operational and delivering PFAS-free water, with future expansion capacity up to 15 MGD.
